The first batch of 58 Palawan scholars for Malampaya Foundation’s Bridging Employment through Skills Training (BEST) graduated on December 19, 2012 after three and half months of vocational course training in welding and integrated construction skills at the TESDA-accredited Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trade (PPSAT).

Twenty-four year old Jonard Antonio's dream of working abroad came true when he was hired as a welder in Saudi Arabia a few months after he finished a vocational course at Bulalacao Technical Vocational College (BTVC) in Oriental Mindoro.
