PUNLANG KATUTUBO NATIVE TREES NURSERY

In July 2019, the foundation opened its Punlang Katutubo Native Trees Nursery in Batangas City which propagates indigenous and endemic Philippine tree species that are either critically-endangered, endangered and/or endemic.The seedlings are used for reforestation, greening and urban-scaping purposes in partnership with local governments of Batangas and Trees for Life Foundation.Among the native tree species propagated are Narra, Kamagong, Toog, Mangkono, Siar, Banaba, Bagras, Ylang-ylang, Salinggogon, Bitaog, Pili, Balitbitan, Bignay, Dao, Dungon, Paguringon, Supa, Talisay, Ipil, Lukban.
