Relief drive conducted for 4,500+ families in areas hit by typhoon Tisoy/Kammuri

Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) conducted relief drive for several areas hit by typhoon Urusula in early December passing Batangas City, Oriental Mindoro and Romblon.

MFI’s conservation community partners in Isla Verde (Batangas City), Oriental Mindoro municipalities Baco, Pola, Pinamalayan, Gloria, and Romblon municipality of Concepcion were provided with relief bags containing 5 kilos of rice and canned meats.

Assistance includes rehabilitation of enterprise/livelihoods and conservation assets that were damaged with the passing of the typhoon. Hardest-hit were the municipalities of Pola and Pinamalayan of Oriental Mindoro and Concepcion in Romblon.
