Puerto Princesa, Palawan — Twenty seven (27) Bridging Employment through Skills Training (BEST) program scholars of Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) graduated at the annual Paskuhan sa Palawan celebration of Malampaya in Puerto Princesa.
The BEST scholars, trained in vocational technical skills scaffolding, were given their NCII certificates and were joined by MFI’s board of trustees and the training institute’s administrators.
BEST is a vocational scholarship for qualified out-of-school youths in in-demand technical skills geared for employment for light to heavy industries locally and internationally. Since 2007, the program has had more than 7,800 scholars with an average of 85% employment rate.
