Subic, Zambales - Some 417 scholars of Malampaya Foundation's Project Galing at Negosyo Dulot ay Asenso (GANDA) and Sanayan sa Ikauunlad ng Kaalamang Pangkabuhayan (SIKAP) claimed their certificates for completing various courses that aim to capacitate beneficiaries with knowledge and skills for employment, self-employment and enterprise-building.
Course completed by graduates were in commercial cooking, pastry production, industrial sewing, personal grooming, soap and cleanser making, housekeeping, front office, bar tending with F&B and reflex massage therapy.
Past graduates of SIKAP and GANDA have either established small businesses, gained employment locally and overseas or are self-employed. The program seeks to boost the earning capacity of indigent women, men and out-of-school youths in the municipality of Subic.
