El Nido, Palawan — Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI)-supported and conservation partner Pagkakaisa Pagtutulungan Kalikasan ay Pakaingatan (PPKP) undertook a Balik Serbisyo activity to benefit the less fortunate members of their barangay.
PPKP utilised a portion of profits from their MFI-granted eco-tourism rentals enterprise to donate sacks of rice to indigent members of the community. The scheme is part of PPKP and MFI’s conservation agreement to embed a pay-it-forward culture within the members of the local cooperative and further spread benefits of the social enterprise program in El Nido.

PPKP endowed 10 families living in the barangay proper and 10 families living on Cadlao island with the incentive.
