Subic, Zambales - Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) gave thanks to its partners in the municipality of Subic, Zambales via a simple thanksgiving ceremony on April 21, 2015 to recognise the effective and fruitful partnership with the municipal and barangay local governments for community programs implemented from 2013-2014 that ranged from skills trainings, livelihood, employment generation, disaster preparedness and road safety.
“Our big thanks to the communities for the full support rendered helped meet the programs' goals and objectives”, MFI Vice President Sebastian Quiniones conveyed to the community officials.
Subic municipal mayor Jay Khonghun replied in his speech, “We should be the one thanking Malampaya for the programs implemented that have resulted in positive changes in this municipality.”
Over 5,000 benefitted from MFI’s programs in Subic and adjacent municipalities from 2013 to 2014.
