Coron, Palawan — Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) signed a memorandum of agreement with barangay Lajala to partner for a level 3 community solar-powered water system in cooperation with the local government of Coron and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The water system is a long-awaited infrastructure project by the residents of Lajala in view of severe challenges in water supply and delivery to the island’s residents with a large indigenous people population.
Levels 1 and 2 will be delivered through counter-parting by MFI, bgy Lajala and Coron LGU, while level 3 shall be completed by the DILG.
