Batangas City - The Malampaya Clinical Laboratory, operated by Philippine Red Cross Batangas Chapter, was inaugurated on October 22, 2015. Located in Barangay Ambulong, the laboratory was built through a partnership between Malampaya Foundation, Inc. Philippine Red Cross, City Government of Batangas, Local Government Unit of Barangay Ambulong and the Department of Health region 4-A.
The clinical lab aims to serve as a diagnostic / laboratory clinic and supplement the primary health services provided by the Ambulong rural health unit.
The facility will be classified as a secondary laboratory to provide hematology, serology, clinical chemistry as well as ECG services.
