Puerto Princesa, Palawan - Fifty six (56) scholars of Malampaya Foundation's Bridging Employment through Skills Training (BEST) program in Palawan graduated on August 14, 2015 from vocational schooling on tourism services-related courses.
Among the graduates were 33 scholars on housekeeping NC II and 23 for food and beverage services NC II. The scholars likewise received certificates for english proficiency.
Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Executive Director Nelson Devanadera keynoted the graduation ceremony. He encouraged the graduates to continue learning and aim to go beyond employment in the future.
The BEST program seeks to capacitate out of school youths and young adults with in-demand skills geared for employment and enable the scholars to be more productive.
