Batangas City — Malampaya Foundation Inc. (MFI) partner communities in marine biodiversity conservation program continue conservation work such as mangrove and beach-forest planting for reforestation of denuded areas, and crown-of-thorns extraction to prevent further destruction on corals.

The conservation partner communities in north Palawan, Oriental Mindoro and Batangas City demonstrated dedication to undertaking responsibilities and tasks to ensure continued progress in the regeneration of marine ecosystems in their areas, as well as recovery of biological productivity for their own benefit and use.
