Enhancing Learning Experience in Public Schools
Upgrading the Standard of Education through Technology (USETEC) is a partnership with Knowledge Channel for the provision of technologies and infrastructure to enhance learning experiences in public schools via enhanced presentation of learning content, from the sciences and math, to history, social studies, English, values formation and many others.
The availability of Knowledge Channel packages have helped reduce the drop out rates in many public schools and helped improve the performance of students in the NSAT.
Provision of Proper Tools for Learning
MFI responded to Republic Act No. 8525, also known “An Act Establishing Adopt-A-School Program and Providing Incentives therefore and for Other Purposes.” This act was passed to encourage private entities to assist in the delivery of better quality science education to public schools in the Philippines, particularly in the poverty-stricken areas.
Since 2010, MFI has delivered 28 science laboratory equipment packages to 28 schools in North Palawan, in partnership with the Department of Education.
